On Friday 19 July 2024 in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia during the European Athletics U18 Championships, Britain's Jake Odey-Jordan made a big mistake during a 200m sprint. The athlete who thought he had won the race, started to slow down very early eventually finishing 4th.
