'Zuma' is a 1985 Filipino horror film based on the popular Zuma comic by author Jim Fernandez. This movie is considered as one of the iconic horror movies in the Philippines.

The story of the film follows the revival of an ancient and evil demigod creature named Zuma. Zuma has two huge snakes around his neck which are his protection and weapon. Zuma wakes up centuries later when archaeologists discover him while doing an excavation. Zuma starts spreading chaos, death and despair to the people, mostly sacrificing virgins to gain his full power. The story contains strong mythological elements and parallels with local legends about gods and monsters.
