The stray and hungry dogs in Santiago de Chile is so common a sight, that usually go unnoticed. Two students decided to change this with their campaign 'Estoy Aqui' (I'm here), tying balloons to the necks of dogs with various messages such as: 'Don't kakometacheirizesai', 'To Scratch', 'Give me some love', 'Hug me'. This initiative aims to raise awareness for the many stray animals who live on city streets. More than 200.000 stray dogs live on the streets of Santiago, and most of them have been abandoned by their owners.
