The Greenpeace cleverly placed two unmanned banners before the match the Belgian Grand Prix, in front of the dais of the award, to protest against Shell's oil drilling operations in the Arctic. The Shell is the major sponsor of the race, and this caused a sensation in the media, as the two banners were removed at the time of the award.
