Neodymium magnets through a copper pipe

Interesting phenomenon where a powerful neodymium magnet passes through copper pipe creating magnetic field. The magnet does not stick to the walls as it falls, because the magnetic field is completely dispersed on all sides. So the field slows down the magnet falls.

  1. Laszlo Bekefi says:

The falling magnet generates electric current in the cuper tube, witch has its own magnetic field.
This magnetic field is interacts with the magnetic field of the neodym magnet.
