On Thursday, February 13 through Tuesday, March 4, 2014, held at 115 Combat Wing / Souda Air Base, in Crete, assessment of the air force (PA) 494th Fighter Squadron with, u.s. air forces based in Europe [United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE)], in the context of cooperation between the two (2) Forces.

The aim was the training of personnel in the execution of complex air operations and specifically executed familiarisation flights, air combat, attacks in tactical firing range, COMAO missions (Composite Air Operations), air supply and cooperation with naval ships.

On the Greek fighter jets participated inclusion, twelve (12) American F-15E aircraft and two hundred and fifty eight (258) the 494th Fighter personnel Squadron.
