If you have seen the movie 'Network' 1976, I remember this memorable scene with the outpouring of news broadcaster Howard Beale (played by Peter Finch). Ignoring the teleprompter, starts a wonderful monologue about the economic crisis of the ' 70s, banks, crime, unemployment and the media. The Finch won an Oscar for this role, while his monologue remains relevant and prophetic after 38 years.
