Unlike CT and x-ray, the MRI uses no hazardous radiation. More specifically, axial MRI uses a strong magnetic field and pulses of radio waves to manipulate protons of hydrogen in the human body. When the RF source is disabled, the protons of hydrogen apokalytoyn their position by emitting energy, which is captured and converted to images. MRIs are generally more expensive and take longer than CT scans, but providing more detailed information. Watch in this video some impressive images of MRI of the human body in action.
