On July 31, a police helicopter flies over residential area of Kitts Green Birmingham, England, and someone marks the pilot with a green laser. The helicopter operators will use the powerful thermal camera to locate the 'perpetrator', and will guide a policeman until the capture. The trial took place on October 16, and the young man with the laser was sentenced to seven months imprisonment with two years' suspension and 250 hours community service.
