In a video released yesterday by the London police, a shopkeeper appears to be 'hypnotized' by a robber, who then picks up the wallet and money from the pocket of undisturbed. The incident happened at the shop of Archway Road in North London, and the owner of the only remembers the robber told him is that his wife was pregnant and needed some water. Then he left the shop, and the victim stalked him but without the catch.
The scene was recorded on security cameras and police posted the video trying to find the man. Detective Constable Dave Bullock said the victim was 'momentarily completely unaware of what had happened' and added: 'The suspect's distraction tactics appear to have put him in a trance state'. The incident occurred on September 11, and the quote is from the BBC's Crimewatch show, along with viewers helps the police solve cases indecipherable.
We've seen something similar in broadcast of the famous hypnotist Derren Brown, but hardly anyone believes that may happen in reality.
