On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland, the BBC turned a video with aerial shots with drone over the area. The camp operates as a Museum and is visited by thousands of tourists every year.
Auschwitz was the largest German concentration camp during World War II, while more than one million people died there between 1940 and 1945. In the video, We can see the railways used for transporting prisoners, the ruins of wooden houses where they resided, the entrance of the camp, and the courtyard between blocks 10 and 11 which was called 'The Block of Death' by the prisoners, as there were executions.
