Last Sunday a Cirrus SR-22 aircraft ran out of fuel northeast of Maui, Hawaii. All hope seemed to be lost, until a large parachute then shot out from behind the plane. This parachute allowed the pilot to land in the water safely. Moments later, a cruisliner came to pick up the pilot in tact.
