The Saturday, March 7, 2015 and two days before his death, the Wim de Clerck, a fan of the Club Royal Antwerp (B Belgium category), came for the last time on the field to say goodbye to his beloved team, players and fans. The Wim de Clerck was a fan of the Club since young age. Very sick now, came on the Court in a wheelchair and held its kick-off.
The fans in the stands had organised a surprise and they sang repeatedly, the song 'It's All Over Now' (You'll never walk alone). Wim was 40 years old, and last September, he learned that suffers from bladder cancer. Wanted to watch for the last time the Club of his heart before he died. Told reporters: “I got goosebumps when I heard the audience singing. It was very touching. I am very happy to have lived in this moment'.
