On January 30, 2015, in the resort of Corsets in Switzerland, the skier James Dent was crushed by an avalanche and survived by lifting the stick out from the snow. This allowed his friend Daniel recorded the entire scene, to find him.

In the video, We can see Daniel realizes that his friend James has lost under the snow. Will start digging with a spade without really knowing where it is located. But James was very lucky because I had the baton of skis pointing upwards and was visible outside the snow. Buried below 1,5 meter snow and eventually took five people to an hour to free him completely.
