This illusion, which contrasts the faces of Marilyn Monroe and Albert Einstein, is a decent test of distant and near vision. This type of illusion is known as a “hybrid image”, and developed by Dr. Aude Oliva at the Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT), as part of a series of experiments that studied how the brain interprets Visual stimuli.
