Cartoon designer Mackenzie Cauley from Brooklyn, transformed Vincent Van Gogh's 'The Night Café' into a 3D environment with animated characters and objects. The virtual diorama was taking separately the elements of the original table and then them into three-dimensional objects through a software. To fill the places of the room that was not visible in the original table, added a few extras then, as a pianist playing music near the bar.
The work of the Dutch painter was ideal for a 3D reconstruction claims the Cauley. “Even if a Van Gogh painting is on a two-dimensional canvas, you can almost imagine yourself in it”.
