The Catastrophe was the largest disaster in the history of the Greek nation from antiquity until today. With the tragedy of Asia Minor Catastrophe of 1922, uprooted nearly two million Greeks from the soils of Ionia and of Asia minor. Estimates of the casualties arrive, in some Greek scholars 700.000 – 1.000.000. This is a short documentary of the genocide of Asia minor with the Narrator, American journalist Bill Kurtis.
