This table is part of an exhibit by the British artist Patrick Hughes, and displayed in report Miami Art Show in New York. Hughes is a pioneer of the style of art referred to as 'reverspective', where manufactures three-dimensional sculptures, then he paints to create a false perspective. The illusion, the table sections seem farther away is actually closer to the Viewer. This painting uses a similar technique to seem like to 'follow'.
