If you want to quickly and easily remove pits from cherries need a glass bottle and a wooden skewer. Place the cherry in the neck of the bottle and push in the center of cherry with skewer until the pit to fall to the bottom of the bottle.

   If you do not have one, buy an olive core, doesn't cost many kroner. They also look nice. It is best if the berries are cold. You can take them straight out of the freezer. Take out of the fridge/freezer a little at a time and you will avoid most of the salting.
