In 1682 in Finspang Sweden, founded the blacksmith Häfla. The plant began production of iron in 1683-45 tons annually, and 1792 production increased to 90 tonnes per year.
All activities Häfla stopped in 1924. The Swedish technical Museum declared the Blacksmith as historical monument, while in 1990 the Häfla hammer was declared as a national monument.
During the last years, skilled blacksmiths and michanoyrgoi restored the hammer and brought back to life and a few days ago, the raised back in service. The video shows the hammer 700 kg per hour of operation.
