On Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Taiwan, a 12 year old boy had unwittingly a big hole in a painting 350 years, that was in the showroom of a Museum in Taipei. The boy lost his balance and tripped tumbling with his hand on the table, which is estimated at 1,500.000 USD.
The work is an oil painting entitled 'Flowers' and was painted around 1660 by the Italian painter Paolo Porpora. The curator of the exhibition, said that the painting was by an Italian art restorer.
