Unlike a traditional 3D printer, the printer Glowforge does not add material to create something, simply removes. Cuts i.e. decorating materials that will give the user.

Can cut wood, Acrylic, cardboard, leather and various other materials, to etch glass and metal. Built to be user-friendly and easy to use, without requiring special software. Can work with sketches on paper, up with complicated files in Adobe Illustrator.

The Glowforge is obviously based on industrial machines cutting and laser engraving. The ceo and founder of the company Dan Shapiro says he was inspired by this technology, and he felt he could improve. There is for pre-order here, while the value varies from 2.000 to 4.000 USD. Quite expensive, but very cheap considering the prices of professional laser cutting machines.

   Great stuff. A little play with 3d printer, although this is not a device with the highest shelves. For print I use epoxy-akrykowych fotoutwardzalnych, that I am buying on 3D Designers. There also I buy templates .
