The bars at a level crossing in Taichung city of Taiwan go down. Cars are stopped waiting to pass the train, but eventually any train does not appear and the bars go up again. The cars then passed from passing, but one of the drivers will experience the biggest fright of his life, when suddenly the train appears and at breakneck speed “scratches” the front of the vehicle.
The bars stood up too early because of a faulty sensor, that suffered damage after the hurricane struck the city the previous day. A malfunction that could have been much more dramatic consequences, and another car passed the passage literally at the last minute.
