World War II had many unsung heroes. Thousands of men and women gave their lives in pursuit of peace, and one of these was Ulrich Wilhelm Graf Schwerin von Schwanenfeld. When faced with impending doom at the hands of Nazis, the Schwanenfeld didn't hesitate to tell the truth.

The son of a diplomat and Schwanenfeld German Christian. Thought the Nazi Government and the loathsome tactics, and took part in the resistance during the second World War. On July 20, 1944 he took part in a failed assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler. He was arrested on July 21, and after he was jailed for a month was referred to trial.

Before lying in front of the judge, the belt was removed in order to suffer further humiliation keeping his pants during his apology.
