During an Aikido seminar in Birmingham, England, a martial arts teacher shows students how to defend themselves with bare hands against someone who attacks them with knife (or sword) on the road.

Of course we are not invincible and in particular against the unpredictable movements of someone who keeps a sharp blade. Most martial arts teachers admit that the wisest defense in this case is to run away.
