Tuesday 26 June 2012 a man walked in Topsail Island beach in North Carolina (USA), When he observed thousands of small clams to come out of the sand. This behavior can be observed at the time of high tide, When shellfish are coming out of the sand to feed by filtering water. The high concentration of clams indicates that is also their breeding period.
