On February 20, 2016 at a gas station in the city of Owensboro, Kentucky (United States), the electronic cigarette of Josh Hamilton exploded in his trouser pocket. The incident was recorded by a security camera at the gas station.

The station's official quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher to extinguish the flames. The Josh admitted to the hospital after the sudden explosion of the battery on the electronic cigarette, which caused second-degree burns on his leg.

   hey videoman….. no e-cigs exploded…..a battery used in e-cigs was in his pocket and short circuited with the change he put in it…..
