On Friday, April 15, a powerful tornado struck the town of Dolores in Western Uruguay. The extreme weather event left behind seven dead and led 2.000 people in their homes, recorded through the shoe store “daPie Calzados”. The store's security cameras show us the passage of Hurricane, that within minutes destroyed the doors, Windows and caused chaos.
The constant rain of recent days in Uruguay also has caused countless floods. In Dolores, a town about 15.000 residents, the damage is great. The Uruguayan President Tabaré Vázquez declared a day of national mourning Sunday for the victims of this natural disaster.
