Mala Mala National Park in South Africa, two lions and two lionesses from different herds have joined forces to attack an African Buffalo. 4 lions seeking their prey around a buffalo herd before attack.    Was it a young buffalo or an adult, male or female. I have read that it is mainly young buffaloes and sick buffaloes that fall victim to lions. Is it true? In rare cases, adults are strong individuals, because they are good at defending themselves and are often together with the herd.
