H Boston Dynamics, the famous American company that specializes in high-tech Robotics, today unveiled the new robot named SpotMini. This is a new smaller version of robot Spot that moves like a dog. The SpotMini battery allows it to operate for 90 minutes and weighs only 25 kg (30kg, If we add the articulated arm on the back).

The company says that the SpotMini is one of the quieter robot ever built. Has various sensors, a camera for navigating in space, a gyroscope for ensuring balance and proprioceptive sensors on limbs.

The SpotMini can make multiple daily tasks independently, like to climb stairs, passing under obstacles, to transfer or to place objects in specific locations. However, often must be guided by one man to accomplish his actions.
