On Sunday August 14, 2016, a single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing during an air demonstration in Herne Bay, England.

Due to a technical problem, the pilot was forced to land as close as he could to the coast. Touching the surface of the water, the plane overturned, trapping the pilot in the cockpit. Fortunately, viewers reacted quickly and went so far as to release the pilot who came out with slight injuries.
