Here’s a demonstration of a mechanical television receiver displaying a color picture. Such systems were in development in the late 1920s but never became products. This system, on display at the Early Television Museum in Ohio, was built as a demonstration unit using a vintage mirror screw scanning device and modern LEDs and electronic circuitry.
